John Charles Cook has been teaching students for more than 32 years. He continues to perform throughout New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and South America. Many of his students have gone on to become accredited teachers or performers.
Education: Master Of Science Education & Master Classes at Hartt School of Music.
Methods: Trained in Suzuki and other styles of guitar.
Students will learn Basic Music Theory, Classical Technique, and will be able to played all different kinds of styles and genres of music.
Accepting students; ages 6 to adults.

LESSON POLICIES
Goal: The primary goal for each student: Is To Enjoy The Gift of Playing Music!
Meet and Greet. No fee. The purpose of the Meet and Greet allows the student, parents, and teacher to have a more personal introduction and to familiarize the student with the studio before their first lesson. The curriculum and any other questions or concerns can be addressed at this time.
Attendance:
Please come prepared, arrive early enough to take out your instruments and prepare yourself for your lesson.
Upon entering, please remove your coat, shoes/boots, etc.
Parents should accompany young children to their lessons. Siblings are welcome on the premises.
Cancellations and ABSENCES
Fall Semester/Attendance/rules:
1. The Fall semester is defined by 12 weeks of lesson. The first day of class is Friday, September 7th, 2013 and last day of class is Saturday,December 14th, 2013. (You can sign up anytime)
2. I have reserved the week of Dec 16-21st,2013 for make up lesson time.
Your lesson time is your reserved time for the session. If you need to reschedule, please give a minim of four days’ notice or you may not be able to reschedule this lesson.
3. The studio will remain open on snow days except in cases of extreme weather.
4. As a professional performer, I may at times need to cancel a lesson, however, you will not be penalized for this and will be given an opportunity to make up missed lesson time.
